Andrew Dressler
Andrew Dressler has always been passionate about serving others whether in the courtroom or out in the community. Originally from Harrison, New York, he obtained his bachelors of arts degree in music from Syracuse University and his juris doctor degree from Hofstra University's Maurice A. Deane School of Law. Inspired by Deuteronomy's famous charge of "justice, justice, you shall pursue" and Judaism's commitments to seeking justice and truth, Andrew was immediately drawn to the courtroom and strived to become a prosecutor after graduation from law school so he could serve his community and seek justice for those victimized by crime.
After law school Andrew achieved his goal of becoming a prosecutor and continues to serve as one to this day. Presently, he serves as an Assistant State Attorney in Orange County, Florida where he prosecutes felony cases of all types of severity. Outside of the courtroom, Andrew is proud to serve the local Jewish community by serving on the Board of Directors of Temple Beth Shalom in Melbourne, Florida and also is a co-founder of the Jewish Professional Network of the Space Coast where he hopes to bring Jews of all kinds across Central Florida together in fellowship.
Andrew presently resides in East Orlando, Florida with his girlfriend Stephany. An accomplished musician as well, Andrew can often be found playing drums and percussion with various local bands as well as composing and arranging music for high school marching bands and indoor percussion groups. He also enjoys playing ice hockey, running, working out, and watching sports of all kinds.
Andrea Sasson
Andrea Sasson has dedicated her career to service, working in the nonprofit world and spending her life building and advocating for the Jewish community and beyond. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Andrea studied in Tel Aviv at Bar-Ilan University and later at Yeshiva University in New York City, where she deepened her commitment to Jewish communal life.
Today, Andrea lives joyfully in Melbourne, Florida, with her husband Jon and their two daughters, Ariela (5), Samara (3), and goofy German Shepherd, Gus (7). Professionally, she serves as the Senior Development Manager of American Cancer Society. In her time outside of work, she serves as a board member at Temple Beth Sholom, the local Conservative synagogue, and co-founded the Jewish Professional Network of the Space Coast, with the goal of uniting Jews of all backgrounds across Brevard and Central Florida.
